Comis Hotel & Golf Resort

This is a very dog friendly hotel. My two dogs were welcome anywhere in the hotel except the spa and pool (understandably). Our room had French doors that opened onto a large fenced off grass area perfect for them. The room had dog beds, bowls, toys and treats. It is unusual to find such an excellent hotel that is so genuinely dog friendly and I wish them every success. I must also mention the staff who were, without exception, friendly and helpful.

The hotel had a decent swimming pool, which allowed for swimming rather than splashing around. Two ends to swim lengths off. The room I had was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of parking and the breakfast room was pleasant. The breakfast was generally good and they did provide me with decaf coffee when I asked. The English breakfast got 8 out of 10 on my score.

Professional staff on arrival, smooth booking in and quick. Very friendly reception lady, explained everything we needed to know.

Good location just outside of Douglas.. plenty of parking space.. very nice grounds/surroundings.. nice size rooms, comfy bed.. excellent breakfast.

The room was large and light, with a nice view from the window. There was ample storage which included wardrobe and drawer spaces, with a safe, and tea/coffee and biscuits. Power points with a large mirror nearby are an essential for hair drying, perfect here! There were two comfy chairs and a nice, firm bed. The whole hotel looked clean and fresh, breakfast was excellent, and staff were helpful and courteous.
